Anton Violinist & Friends ‘Tango Passion’

Anton Jablokov – Violin
Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi – Bandoneon
Claude Hauri - Cello
Adam Kuruc - Piano

TANGO PASSION premiered in spring 2025 with sold-out concerts at the National Concert Hall Dublin and Teatro Sociale Bellinzona.
The program blends emotional depth, virtuosity, and a distinctive musical voice.

Four exceptional musicians shape a soundscape of passion, precision, and spontaneity — uniting classical elegance, tango tradition, and improvisation.
The repertoire ranges from El Choclo and Por una Cabeza to works by Astor Piazzolla like Adiós Nonino, Milonga del Ángel, and Libertango, along with original arrangements and free musical dialogues.

“Tango is more than just music – it’s a mirror of love, longing, and resilience. Born in the streets of Buenos Aires and Montevideo, it tells stories of the raw moments of life.”

Anton Jablokov, a Slovak violinist well-known for his virtuosic technique and ability to blend classical precision with the raw passion of folk and world music traditions, is also familiar to Irish audiences through his performances with his brother Vladimir. Anton has graced Europe’s major stages, performing as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as the BBC Concert Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, and OSI in Lugano, to name a few.

Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi, a world-renowned bandoneon virtuoso from Italy, celebrated for his collaborations with Ennio Morricone, Andrea Bocelli and for his interpretations of Astor Piazzolla’s Tango compositions.

Adam Kuruc, a distinguished pianist and composer from Slovakia, who recently composed music for Grammy Award-winners Rodrigo y Gabriela’s latest album.

Claude Hauri, a Swiss cellist, internationally recognized as a soloist and exceptional chamber musician.
